Frost Instrumental Music Fundraiser
Our fundraiser campaign will kick off on Monday, November 8, and will run until Monday, November 22.
Our fundraiser will benefit ALL of our students. Every year we run a fundraiser to raise funds for our program so we can provide our students with many opportunities, and maintain important needs in our music program. This week during Monday, November 1 through Friday, November 5th, we are working on our kick-off campaign. We have partnered up with Fundraise Genius to help fundraise for our program. This program was chosen because the percentage amount of money that comes to our program is greater than other fundraisers out there.
This fundraiser also takes out the need to sell anything, or have to go door-to-door. We run one large fundraiser a year to help raise the funds needed to run our program. We are looking to raise $5,000. This goal can be reached. If everyone of our instrumental students on average raised $53.00 per student, we would hit our $5000 goal! In year's past, we have passed our goals. I hope we are able to do the same this year! This fundraiser can be reached to anyone and everyone around the world. In year's past, we have had people donate to us by seeing our link on Twitter, Facebook and other social media and using hashtags to promote our fundraiser.
It takes a lot of money to give our students the abilities to do what we do in our program. For example, our upcoming concert program for our ensembles sheet music cost just over $600.
We are looking to raise funds to bring in clinicians to work with our students, purchase tuners/mic-clips, batteries, rosin, valve oil, cork grease, sheet music for our concerts, solo and ensemble sheet music, buses for our festival transportation, festival fees, guitar strings, guitar picks, guitar sheet music books, digital supplemental resources for our students, and more!
This week during November 1-5: Collect e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers for family and friends who could be a potential donor to our program. Students will input this information in their fundraising portal. This information will not be sold or used for anything else except for reaching out to them to donate to our program. That's it! Students should aim to collect 15 contacts that could be potential donors. You will need their e-mail addresses. During this week, sit down with your parents/guardians to discuss people who could donate and update their contacts in your student dashboard.
During the week of November 8-22: Fundraising campaign time. Reach out to family members and friends that can donate to our program. Your student will have a special link to send to them. We can track how much our students fundraise. Our top 5 winners (highest donations) will have a pizza/pop lunch with Mr. Rais when our campaign is over!
People can always submit a check directly to our program:
